About Skill-ed
Guiding the Young Generation to Success
Skill-ed was founded in 2015 at Balliwala Chowk and ran its first session in 2016. Today it runs Playgroup to Grade 2 and a day care, still small enough that every teacher knows every child.
We use varied activities and progressive methodologies to support every stage of a child's development, blending learning with play across language, motor skills, creativity and social interaction.

Skill-ed at a Glance
Skill-ed is a kindergarten and day care at Balliwala Chowk, Dehradun, founded in 2015. It runs Playgroup, Nursery, LKG, UKG, Grade 1 and Grade 2 for children aged 2 to 8, with day care until 6 PM, post school activities and summer and winter camps.

- Children in the classes bring their own tiffin; day care children get lunch and an evening snack from the school cafeteria

- Nine classrooms, an 80-seat auditorium, an indoor play area and a swimming pool

- 40+ staff; 1,000+ alumni since the first session in 2016

- Post school activities, a summer camp and a winter camp

- One fee sheet for every class, Playgroup to Grade 2, in 2026-27: registration and admission, each paid once; monthly tuition and optional transport within 5 km, both paid quarterly. The fee sheet (PDF) is sent after a short form on the fees page

- Three vans, morning pickup 8 AM to 9 AM. Route 1: Niranjanpur, Mehuwala, Sewla Kalan, Chaman Vihar and Pragati Vihar. Route 2: Rajendra Nagar, Vijay Park, Laxman Chowk and Balliwala. Route 3: Panditwari, Premnagar, Chakrata Road, Indira Nagar, GMS Road and Kanwali Road
