Fee terms 2026-27

The rules that go with the fees

These are the terms printed on the fee sheet that parents sign at admission.

  1. Fees are paid quarterly, by 10 April, 10 July, 10 October and 10 January. A late fee applies after the due date.
  2. School and transport fees are charged for twelve months, April to March.
  3. Payment can be made online, by UPI, cheque, draft or cash, or through the school app. Cheques are made out to "Skill-ed", payable at Dehradun. A returned cheque is fined.
  4. Fees paid as per the fee structure are non-refundable under any circumstances.
  5. Thirty days' written notice of withdrawal must be given to the school office. Without it, one month's fees are charged. This applies to tuition and transport fees, and fees are charged for the notice period.
  6. If fees remain unpaid for more than 60 days, the student's name is removed from the school roll. A student who wishes to continue must apply afresh.
  7. The school reserves the right to review the fees periodically, and a revision applies to all students.
  8. Transport charges may vary if the pickup or drop is more than 5 km away.
  9. Transport used one way only is charged for both ways.
  10. The pickup and the drop must be at the same location.
  11. Transport is a limited facility, offered on vacant seats on each route.
  12. All disputes are subject to the competent courts with exclusive jurisdiction in the district of Dehradun.

The amounts are on the fee sheet itself. For them, ask our admissions team on a call or on WhatsApp.

Fees and Timings: Quick Answers

What is the fee structure at Skill-ed?

One fee structure covers every class from Playgroup to Grade 2 in 2026-27: a registration fee and an admission fee, each paid once, and a monthly tuition fee, paid quarterly at the start of each quarter. The school van is optional, within 5 km. Day care and post school charges depend on the hours a child stays. Our admissions team shares the amounts on a call, on WhatsApp or at your campus visit.

Ask on WhatsApp, call +91 78 3080 3080, or book a free tour.

Are there any hidden charges?

No. Every charge is printed on the school's fee sheet: registration, admission and tuition, annual charges each April from the academic year after admission, and a charge each September for Annual Day and Sports Day. Books and uniform cost extra, and transport is optional. Art, music, picnics and field trips are included.

When are the fees paid?

Tuition and transport fees are paid quarterly, by 10 April, 10 July, 10 October and 10 January, and are charged for all twelve months from April to March. A late fee applies after the due date. You can pay online, by UPI, cheque, draft or cash, or through the school app.

Are the fees refundable, and what is the notice to withdraw?

Fees paid are non-refundable, including the registration and admission fees. To withdraw a child, give the school office 30 days' written notice; without it, one month's tuition and transport fees are charged. If fees stay unpaid for more than 60 days, the child's name is removed from the school roll.

How much does the school van cost?

The school van is charged by the month for pickup and drop within 5 km of the school, paid quarterly with the tuition fee. The admissions team tells you the amount for your stop on a call or on WhatsApp. Beyond 5 km the charge may vary. Using the van one way costs the same, the pickup and drop point must be the same, and seats depend on space on the route.

Ask on WhatsApp or call +91 78 3080 3080 with your locality.

What are the school and day care timings?

Classes run Monday to Friday: Playgroup, Nursery and LKG from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM, and UKG, Grade 1 and Grade 2 from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM. There are no classes on Saturday. Day care is open Monday to Saturday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and the school is closed on Sunday.

The timings table also gives the office hours and the tour times.

Do you offer scholarships or fee assistance?

Please ask the admissions team about any fee assistance or scholarship that is currently available. Call or WhatsApp +91 78 3080 3080, or raise it on your tour, and they will tell you what applies to your child's class.

Are meals provided?

Children in the classes bring their own tiffin from home, for the fruit break and lunch time in the school day. Food is provided only for day care children: a hygienic in-house lunch and an evening snack from the school cafeteria.
