Playgroup: Quick Answers
What is the right age for Playgroup at Skill-ed?
Playgroup (Explorers) is for children aged 2 to 3, counted on 31 March of the admission year. It is a gentle first step for children who are ready to spend a short morning away from home, and a parent stays nearby during the first week.
See every class and its age on the programmes page.
What will my child learn in Playgroup?
In Playgroup children learn through songs, stories and sensory play. Action rhymes build language and rhythm, safe textures invite them to touch and explore, and free play teaches sharing and taking turns. The year builds early vocabulary, movement skills, independence and self-help.
What are the timings for Playgroup at Skill-ed?
Playgroup runs Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM, the same as Nursery and LKG, with no classes on Saturday. UKG, Grade 1 and Grade 2 finish at 1:30 PM. A child who needs a longer day can stay on in day care on the same campus, which is open until 6:00 PM, Saturdays included.

How do I apply for admission at Skill-ed?
There are four steps. Book a free tour and visit with your child, choose the class and a start date, submit the form and documents online or at the office, and then settle in gently over the first week with a parent nearby.
You can apply online in about two minutes, or book a tour first.
