LKG: Quick Answers

What is the right age for LKG at Skill-ed?

LKG (Inventors) is for children aged 4 to 5, counted on 31 March of the admission year. Children usually move up from Nursery. New children are welcome too, and are settled in gently over the first week.

See every class and its age on the programmes page.

What will my child learn in LKG?

LKG adds more structured learning alongside art, music and physical play. Children read simple words, write letters and numbers, and make creative projects with paint, paper and clay. The year builds early reading and writing, creative thinking, confidence and teamwork.

What are the timings for LKG at Skill-ed?

LKG runs Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM, the same as Playgroup and Nursery, with no classes on Saturday. UKG, Grade 1 and Grade 2 finish at 1:30 PM. A child who needs a longer day can stay on in day care on the same campus, which is open until 6:00 PM, Saturdays included.

See each part of the Kindergarten day, from the morning assembly to the closing circle.

How do I apply for admission at Skill-ed?

There are four steps. Book a free tour and visit with your child, choose the class and a start date, submit the form and documents online or at the office, and then settle in gently over the first week with a parent nearby.

You can apply online in about two minutes, or book a tour first.
